Ah, gotch. I understand about the backlighted idea... Thanks. It sure is a good topic. Well, this weekend, I am off to deep in the Finnish forest. Should be fun. I will keep my eyes open for any good shots I can find. Thanks for the link about Nordkapp. All the best. Ned

If you do not mind me asking, what kind of program are you using to process these cell phone wonders?

May I ask, where are you visiting? Helsinki is starting to thaw... it 7 fahrenheit here in central Finland... up in the polar circle... but it is warming up now... I hope you enjoy your visit. Right now, I kick myself for not buying snowshoes when I could of. All the best. Ned

Hiya, I have a modest mobile phone for a camera... and until I get a new one, I also use freeware for resizing, etc. I have IrfanView, Picasa and Paint.Net, but I don't know much about these computer programmes as I am moving from film to digital... so, I hope to get photoshop... and start learning how to do proper post-processing... for now, I try a lot of things in the camera, such as whitebalance, ISO, etc.
