Default Three Photos from Bryant Park

Glorious, glorious weather in NYC I must say that I cannot not bring my camera. All shots taken this morning.

#1. Bryant Park.

#2. Bryant Park fountain.

#3. Empire State Building reflection. While taking the pictures above, a woman with a DSLR slung around her neck approached me smiling and pointing at the building across the street. She said the Empire State Building is being reflected on it. I said oh yeah and took photos.

C&C welcome. Thank you for looking!

You're welcome... Could you go back to #3 and experiment with it again... I would try a verticle picture... perhaps back up just a hair... mess around with using the tree... but avoiding the light on left... It is just that you are there... in NYC... I am stuck in the Finnish forest! but I like this picture... I am only thinking outload with my ideas... Thanks.

We have seen Bryant Park before, and that beautiful fountain.

But, again - you seem to have blown new life into an old scenes with these delightful pictures.
- Love the light-reflections on the wall of the building behind the fountain in #1.
- Love the portrait of a fauntain in # 2 with lovely lines and perspective. Nice colors and tones her. And the smoothness of the bowl!
- # 3 has already been praised by Ned. I agree with the reflections being great and specially this light-movement in the middle!

Well done, vvcarpio!

Thanks a lot, Walter!

For these, unlike before, I used a gorillapod and took 5 shots without using my camera's auto-bracketing feature.

Thanks, Ned -- one of these days I'll try different angles.
