Default The Great White North?? Here's Why.

These were taken last week by some friends in the high country of South Central British Columbia. I think they're pretty impressive and thought I would share and get some opinions here in the forum. I hope no one minds that I have posted two shots in one thread.

cheers

Very cool.... and no it is only the photo critique section where we like there only to be one shot per thread

I would love to get up there and shoot, it looks great!

Absolutely awesome photographs! Great job... And, Mark, after you visit British Columbia, try Finland where we have these Ice Hotels. Take a look: http://www.gadling.com/2007/01/24/finland-s-snow-hotel/

Again, great shots, Scottie!

Wow, Markkus, you've got 20 C? It is 0 outside... a real heatwave for us...

Again, Scottie, love these photos... I wonder how they built these... all that weight in the second photo is a mystery how it stands. Ned

About three weeks ago it was snowing.... this week the temperature climbed up over 10 to 15 and now about 19, 20° celsius here in Innsbruck, thanks to the warm wind from the south (called "Föhn" in german )!

Great photos! Would not be my first (or even remote second) choice for a place to call home

Nice capture. Keep warm up there.
