Default Toronto at Nite Panorama

This is Toronto at night from atop the CN Tower. The view goes from west to east about 200°. The only missing area is the lake which is black at nite. Its much more impressive looking in its original 20" x 290" size.

Cool Bynx.

I tried a panorama today. Itīs quite hard. Do you use Photoshop for making panoramas?

Best regards/Daniel

Well I use Googles Picasa to upload images... It's kind of like flickr but the images can be as big as you like (I think) and it's free so its a win-win situation.

Maybe you can upload your picture to photobucket.com or any other image-sharing site? I dont know what their limits are on size though...

Ok Acapulco, here it is from Photobucket if it works.

No matter what I do I cant seem to get it any larger than what you see here. This jpeg is 25% the size of the original 20 x 290 inch file.

maybe you could make a quicktime movie panning across the scene. i wouldn't know how to do that, but i bet its not terribly difficult.

hmm..
it seems that the image is so big that it's hard for the uploading sites to handle it well....

maybe you should upload each individual file and if you want to see it you'll have to stitch it yourself - HAHA !

I actually don't know how to solve this :S I've never shot that big a pano before

The low res file I made has it down to 5" x 73" at 100% so viewing it on the computer is perfect. You just scroll along. But when I upload it to Photobucket for example, it only comes back as a small iddy biddy pic. I will get it figured out.

Can't see anything. A new record for tinniest picks.
Try using megaupload and posting a direct link so we can scroll along. Scrolling is not a big deal.
