Default Kananaskis Under Moon Light

Just a teaser for you all Left the house last night after 8pm to make the 1 hour drive to Kananaskis to capture it's amazing beauty under moon light. I stopped at Barrier Lake then went on to Troll falls arriving back home after midnight. The light in the centre of the tree line is a lone car making its way down the highway, probably to some camp ground for the long weekend.

I only have time right now to post the first photo.

Kevin

Yeah, not bad for a beginner

Very sweet work as usual, and again the effort, time and dedication has really paid off.

not bad :P

in all seriousness. really beautiful, no one does night shots like you do Kevin. i love the moonlight reflecting off the water. and the smooth colors the night shots give compared to daylight. the perspective in #2 with the moving water is really appealing.

are these stacked images?

Acapulco, Dustin and Mark, thanks for taking the time to look and post.

Acapulco, the lens I used for these shots is the Canon 24 - 70 2.8.

Dustin, these are not stacked but the first one is 2 landscape mode images stitched and the 2nd is 7 landscape mode images stitched using cs4.

Stay tuned for more from my little outing!

Loving the 2nd one Kevin. One day, I might get just one shot half as good as you get most days and I will be a happy man.

Mark thanks for your kind words but you need to give yourself a pile more credit for your photographic talents. You will at least tackle weddings....I won't go near them. ;0)

Here's my next one. Still more to follow!
