Default Long Weekend at the Farm

How sweet it is to leave everything behind and go to the country. Friends of our have some horses and wide open landscape that goes on and on and on....

Fantastic shots Kevin - did you use the ND filter an all of them? The bif is beautiful, and the landscapes are just breathtaking... with wonderful colors and composition... and the bird in #3, really cool

Thank you Eetu and Markus. I did use the ND in all of them. The trick to knowing if you should use it or not is whether or not your wearing sunglasses or wish you were wearing them. When the sun is high in the sky bleaching everything out, grab those sunglasses and ND filters and head out to see what's there to photograph.

You'll also notice how well everything looks with sunglasses on......the same thing applies to ND filters.

i love this set Kevin.

that first shot is just outstanding, what a tender moment you captured there and presented it so well. enter this on in some contests, it is a unique and touching photograph that i am sure many people would love to have the opportunity to view.

#2 and #3 are great landscapes too. i love the perspective of #2 and i really love the wildflower foreground in these shots, has such a lovely spring feel to it.

well done my friend!
