Default The path home

Hiya,

Was out in the woods today... below is the path that leads to my home (this path is about 100 yards to my home). It is a beautiful walkway, beats the sidewalk. Anyway, it is really rainy and overcast this week, but I wanted to get out a take pictures. The resizing and all takes a little from the quallity of the photograph... Nevertheless, I didn't want to over-sharpen this photograph or make the path look like something it is not. The woods were dark going in, but look back it was much brighter. NOTE, these photos were cropped some to improve the composition, so these ARE NOT the original photos that were posted.

Anyway, I had fun... enjoying my new camera... rain or shine. Oh, in the second photo, my home is just behind the back trees...

All the best.

Ned

From your description, I envy you and the location of your house. The path leading into the woods in your photograph draws me in and makes me wish that I could follow it to its end. Thanks for sharing.

Regards

Ned, I am soooo envious of your location. When I am done working for a living, my wife and I have talked about moving to a location that is sorrounded by woods and mountains! As Bluenose has said, looking at your picture wants me to follow the path!

Thank you, Jehan, for your kind words, indeed. Yeah, I just love this path. It feeds into a larger path that you can walk for long, long distances. The main path has lights at night... though the nights are disappearing here in Finland! Finns are very "switched on" to paths for pedestrians... cyclists... and so on. Well, glad ya liked them, Jehan. Good hearing from you. Ned

I have cropped the photo just a little to improve composition, and all... if you have a moment to have a relook... it would be appreciated (especially if you have suggestions, cc, etc). Many thanks. Ned

Notice any difference??? Of course, one was taken on a very cloudy day... and today the sun broke through. I am afraid to do any further post processing than what I have already done. All the best.
