Default Nice place to sit down and relax

Here was a nice place to sit down and take in the scenery. This is about a 10 minute walk from my house.

Wasn't sure which photo was best... I lean toward the first

Ned,

Indeed a lovely place, bringing kahvi, makkara and mansikka and perhaps something from the "monopoly", forgot the pirakka, kalakokkon way (Kuopio) - abit nearer the Russian border

Agree, we shouldn't be afraid of the dark areas; merging often makes a good picture worse

Yes, I like the first picture. Composition is great, too.

#1 for sure. A very good pick and it's obvious you're improving your pp!

I'm with Kevin on this one. Reason being that number 1 is over saturated, and while some folks like the look, I like my colors a bit more natural.

Hi guys!!! I have been away for the week, deep in the Finnish forest... Just wanted to thank you all for your constructive and helpful criticisms. Your comments are very helpful to know, and it is good for us all to be able to discuss such things in this forum.

All the best.

Ned
