Default Beartooth at Dawn

I took this picture at about 6:00 a.m. when I was fishing. This is actually my first successful attempt at stitching multiple photos together. It was really a pretty sight as the sun hit the top of the mountain.
Also, how do I post pictures without loosing the quality? I had to cut the pixels down to about 1/4 of the original in order to post it.
Any advice about what to do better would be great. I have wondered about cropping differently.
Thanks,
Soup

Hi Soup, I like the composition and the lighting on the rocks. The sky looks drab to me.
I think It's a great shot that could be made sensational with some tweaks in something like Photoshop or a hdr program, Just adjusting the sky and bringing out some of the detail. I can't see where you have joined the pics it looks great to me.
I wouldent have changed a thing at the picture taking stage just some PP.
My opinion, but I'm new to this so it's not worth a lot.

Me again, I put the pic into Dynamic Photo HDR, the sky went a bit pixely so blurred it in Photo shop I,m not good with it as managed to blur the tops of the hills as well but think the sky and lighting look more interesting like this.
I think it's a great pic you took.

Composition and color are good. However, I find the image a bit too blurry for my tastes.

I like how the sun catches the mountains.

The colour version of condorman is an improvement, I believe. More 'punch'.

But there is a bit too much halo effect where the mountain and sky meet.

When posting your pics if you keep the size to about 8" x 10" at 72 dpi at 100%. That should generally fit within the specs of the site requirements.

Well that explains it. I didnt think anyone would post it like that. I had to downsize the pic to keep it sharp. If the file is too large then the site resizes it and does nasty things to it while doing it. Like the fuzziness we see.
