Thax wala........the owner of the marina left the gate open for me, the price was a print of the ship and the city when I was finished. I think it was worth it, as there is no better angle to take this shot from.

I think shot #2 and #3 are quite good here. good exposures, like the perspective of 2 and the nice lights of #3.

i think #2 is a little bit tilted ccwise though

LOL. It may very well be canted a bit..as I sometimes bring a kooler with me on these little outings. Afterall its my day off, and I am enjoying myself.

Very nice shooting, 2 is excellent. Great exposure with the clouds for a night shot. Short enough shutter speed not to get a star burst effect. Very nicely done.

Thanks. It is amazing how much light you can pull in on a timed exposure. The dock in number 2 was dark and I mean dark dark. When shooting there I would hear footsteps coming toward me up that dock, and would not see the person till they were on top of me.

yeah, it is pretty amazing how long exposure can change pitch black into a colorful night scene. It is my favorite shooting environment. It is over exposure, but it just looks good.
