Default Reflecting on the day

Went down to the pier this evening to catch what promised to be another spectacular sunset...and wasn't disappointed.

this is really nice. i like the sky and the lines, and of course, nice reflections on the wet beach.

The wide angle of the 16 - 35mm is sweet. Is there much post correction to straighten the horizon after? Beautiful photo Walter with just the right balance of shadows/highlights.

No lens correction done here. It's rarely necessary IME, providing I use good perspective. BTW, its the 16-35 II. Thanks for the comment.

Very nice and dramatic. I like the colors and expansive foreground that leads to the horizon.

The horizon isn't horizontal which seems to work well with this photo - creates movement.

Obviously you were there during a very special sunset!

Nice capture!
