Default Sunrise in Middletown

These were the sunrise pics I was taking when I was sidetracked by the setting moon. The moon was setting when I arrived so I had to take pictures of it first.

#1) This was taken along Slaughter Road -- my favorite spot for sunrise pics.

#2) To the left of the pics is a big horse ranch (not shown). There's a sort of race track and there were actually harnesses being pulled by horses with people on them while I was taking pictures. I don't think they're harness racing, though, more like maybe giving the horses a workout for an actual event somewhere else.

(There are actually two harness racetracks not too far away -- one in Goshen, NY and the other in Monticello, NY. So harness racing may be a popular sport in the county.)

#3) This is actually not in Middletown but in the neighboring hamlet of Circleville. It is a picture of Lake Henneside which I've posted pictures of here before.

Thank you for looking. C&C welcome.

Very lovely, as usual. Too bad about the jet trail in #1, which is otherwise spectacular.

Thanks, Walter. The good part is it's very close by. So I can re-take again and again.

Nice work VV. I don't mind the jet trail in #1, but I think you can clone out the flare though.

Thanks, jelpee. I didn't think it was possible until you said so. I like this one better.
