Default A Night-Shot from the Old Town

Actually it's early in the morning. I went there to photograph before the town got too buisy with pedestrians and cars driving up and down.

Walter,

Gamle stad and Haga in my city have many similarities. There is a standing invitation when you're passing by. Beautiful pictures, and yes, it's important that there are no cars

I think of "Sult" when i see the pictures, a book and a film from Kristiania. It was easy to identify with the main character

Thank you all. This was not really very serious shooting. I was just trying out some night-shots with my D300(s). I realize now that I should have shot these in RAW to be able to get a different WhiteBalance in the picture. Would have been nice with neutral white light from the street-lamps.
It is too reddish as it is.

Nice - I really like long exposure evening / night shots.

There is a really nice feature in the Pentax K5 I have started to use a lot - Do you like that last jpg shot ? Then two pushes of a button and it's now saved as a RAW too !
