RPG, welcome to the forums!

Like the shot a lot, nice setting, and good composure. I think it came out a little soft in the download as it could be sharper, but I am sure you will find the key to this problem if you read some of the downloading text posted here. Overall though, well done! Peace, Frank

thanks for the warm welcome. The image is quite sharp in real life. This was taken during a motorcycle trip and of all the places we visited, Grand Canyon, the various parks in CO and others, this place was the most peaceful and spiritual. It really made an impression on me.

Very nice pic. From your description, I think I'll add Grand Canyon to my bucket list.

Monument Valley is a spectacular spot, for sure. you got some nice clouds there, as well as a grand view of the Mittens and Merrick Butte. i was there in early June, nary a cloud in sight most of the time.

The exposure on the clouds is great, and I like how the cars are on the road near your foot.

Horizon is a bit tilted (a pet correction point of mine to make!)

I'm not a huge fan of b&w generally, but this sorta works for me! (That's saying a lot).

Cheers.. These are the 'mittens' from memory, right?
