Default Dont' know what to call it really...

Just some rapids I shot last fall. Liked the water-action - hate the small blown-area of water on the right - but what can you do...?

Definitely has a 'rushing' feel to it (I can almost hear it!)

I truly appreciate the colour of the water in the middle of the photo.

Tought decision, Ordo - The rapids are the main object here, not the woods. Besides that, there was this low mist in the woods, and most details in the woods were gone, anyway.

BTW - found another shot with some woods, specially for you Ordo! Satisfied?

1/50" is ONE of the 5 shots that went into this HDR (You of all people should know my weaknes by now...!), and was the middle (Zero EV) exposure, while the others were 1/250 - 1/80 - 1/30 - 1/20
The EXIF of a HDR shows always the middle-exposure only - if it shows anything at all.

Don't mind at all, Mikael!
Nice job you did on the blown bit. I am not good with such things. Thank you for your edit and your kind words! As for the 'lighten it up'-bit, I'm not sure which is correct, as there was no sunlight out at all. In fact it was pretty dark, due to a heavy fog in the air, and I kind'a like the sinister, dark mood I used initially. Your edit implies sunshine on the rocks and the grass in the background...

Best regards,
Walter

Hey Walter, what grabs me the most here is actually your posted shot, ....but more so looking over top the water to the color of the moss and trees in the background.

Thank you for your comment, spy - so you preferred the background to the foreground? Whatever tickes your box. Mission accomplished if the picture touched something in you.

Interesting observation! Thanks for pointing that out.

I've been looking at mysterious trees and colours lately and these ones in your shot caught my eye.
