#10) This morning I noticed the covers on the bottom of the center columns have been removed. The inscriptions (same on both sides) are now revealed:

THE NEW YORK PUBLIC LIBRARY
STEPHEN A. SCHWARZMAN
BUILDING

We had freezing rain yesterday and slight drizzle today so I added the rain for effect.
Great shot VV. It really looks freezing cold.

Best regards/Daniel

Thanks, Daniel.

#11) The Mid-Manhattan Library building (the one with the red banners) which houses popular collections (paperback novels, DVD movies, current non-fiction titles, as well as religion, philosophy, etc.) just diagonally across from the Stephen A. Schwarzman building will be sold. Its collections will be transferred to the Stephen A. Schwarzman building.

Always love you work, VV!

Do you still use Sony Alpha? And what lens for taking these street shots?

You should try DPHDR5, it can easily get rid of the ghosts in #3 and #9.

Thanks, Ranma, simple.

Ranma, I just purchased the upgrade to DPHDR5. I am still trying to learn the automatic ghosting feature in Fusion. I think Fusion is great. It gives me three renderings of the image (Default, Natural, and Strong) before going to the tone mapping screen. I think that the three renderings, except maybe for some cases, are already "final product" quality and need minimal tone mapping.

#12) I used DPHDR5's Fusion's "strong" setting in this photo.

I think the $25 upgrade to Version 5 is worth it because Fusion is essentially a new product inside an already great product.

I also like the new "Fusion Blending" mode, VV, it gives a more natural look.
