Default Cotehele Quay at night.

Hi Chums.
I had another go at a night pic, It was cloudy sky and rain so it wasn't great.
Packed up quick.
Its a winch used to lift things in and out of the boats I think. used my torch to light it.
Thanks for looking.
Mark

# 1 is perfect in its composition, very nice and crisp winch with a beautiful backdrop of the evening (night-)sky. I would have loved a bigger edit to really enjoy all the details, Mark!!

# 2 has IMHO too prominent clouds. They suffocate the delicate light, colors and details of the scene.

# 3 gives one a lot to think about the anticipation of what could be there, what really is there and what we can see and identify. Very nice. I like it. It's exciting.

# 4 is a perfect B&W picture which has all the ingredients of a good photograph! Great shades of B&W.

Congratulations, Mark - You'v done it again!

Beste regards,
Walter

Thank you, very mucho Walter for your very kind comments and help.

2 yes I see this now, the sky is quite dark n stormy but the bottom half is of a lighter mood. I blurred the sky in this as it was showing a lot of grain. Ill try making lees contrast between the light and dark areas of the sky and see what thats like.

4, I was quite excited when I saw this old lock and the tree behind.

I tried to link a bigger picture from flickr but it always looks to big on my screen and have to scroll about to see the whole pic. I must be doing something wrong. Will look into that.
Thank you Walter, Mateyy.
