Default Ebin Ice Caves

These are a couple shots from inside Ebin Ice Caves in Upper Michigan. The caves are formed from a small crick that dribbles water off a rock ledge and freezes in the winter. When I went earlier this month the wall of ice was not quite as impressive as it gets later in the season, but it was more open on the inside which made for a more impressive cave.

This one was a hand held 3 shot bracket hdr. I don't particularly care for the composition of this shot. It was mainly just an experiment to see what it would look like in hdr.

Thanks Mark. The pictures really don't do the place justice, these "caverns" are actually pretty big, I should've taken a shot with someone standing in it for a sense of scale. I also wish I would have gotten a good shot of the outside of the ice wall, but there were a lot of people there that day, so I couldn't get a good shot.
