Default Coal Creek

felt the need to get out of the house this afternoon, so i took a short hike down the lower Coal Creek trail which, oddly enough, follows Coal Creek as it runs through the woods south of Bellevue, WA. the creek itself isn't all that much to look at, and you can't get to it most of the time, but it's a nice walk anyway. here are a couple i thought were kinda interesting...

a small spillway... 5D 24-135 @ 69mm, 1 sec @ f/16 w/polarizer

gravel bar... 5D 24-135 @ 135mm, 2.5 sec @ f/8 w/polarizer

Really like #2: the still rocks and the water in motion make an interesting composition!
