Default Iced Up

Not so much of a "great" shot as an example of a recent wind storm near the water. Taken in Collingwood, Ontario. This is normally a wooden bench.....not something we normally see. However, the winds were about 80 km/hr and a temperature of about -16c

Natures own ornamented seating sheet! Wonderful show and probably a bit to cold to sit on for a while....

That is amazing!!! Nature has transformed a wooden bench into a sofa.

How cool is that!

I agree with both Walter's comment (too cold to sit on) and Bob's comment - a naturally made sofa!

Nice capture. Good exposure.

Brrrrrr.

I can't imagine how cold that must have been with the wind blowing... I loved your shot, well done.

Thank you everyone....I thought it was pretty neat the way the wind and water formed the 'sofa'. Glad too share. It was pretty wild too see and something which is extremely rare for us to this degree. It's remained solid for the last few days as temps have been colder than normal. Here's a side view of the same bench.
