That's a very interesting title Torgny. Does it mean the photo shows where people live, work and the cemetary?

banksy,

Kevin,

These are pictures of the valley below, from the mountain above, with an EF-S 55-250 mm lens. Didn't expect the pictures to come out that clear from that distance

It struck me, while I was "roaming" up there on the fourth ridge that it was a mixture of old and new living conditions. As in times of old, with villages and small towns you could live your entire life and also "live your death" there - in a limited area

Nowadays most of us live in a "transport society". Live in one place, work in another, have your parents in a third, buy your groceries in a fourth, visit your parents in a fifth, have vacation on a sixth, be buried in a seventh etcetera

You need gas and oil for all that transporting

This neighborhood offers most of these things in the same place, which is highly unusual near a larger city. What lacks in this modern variant of a medieval society is the closeness and solidarity between people, and for that matter the hierachical structure; the latter is of course a good thing

Have more pictures from the same "session" I want to share. May be repetitive but anyhow I hope you'll follow me up there on the fourth ridge

Thank you

Torgny
