Default 2010 Overall Photo of the Year

After winning the 2010 Best of Class for Scenic/Nature, the photo went in for another round of final votes and has won Overall Photo of the Year for 2010!! My photo was up against so other stellar shots and I honestly didn't think it would take the majority of the votes.

Have a look here:

Thanks for looking!

"Magnificent shot, Perfect timing of the fog rolling in. Perfect composition
Love the shape of the fog almost looks like a mountain of snow. I like
how a small section of the landscape where the light has broken through
the fog. Truly love the black and white photograph.
Why I think this should win is because moments like this are very rare.
You have to be there at the right place and time."

From one of the members there. What makes this shot unique, to me, is the fact that it is probably a one-in-a-lifetime shot. You have captured this elusive shot forever, and it is highly unlikely anyone can ever duplicate it. It is truly unique, and deserving of the win. Congratulations, Kevin.

I saw the other photos and all selected were VERY good! It speaks as to how well your photos touch others. You certainly have a good eye and a pp talent which highlight the best qualities of your photos and inspire others with your artistic views. The photo is definitely unique both in subject matter and presentation.

Congrats! Well deserved.
