That's a lot of water on the move. Like Umdaman1 said, had to get wet on that one.

Thanks guys! I freaked my wife out when she saw me climbing down the slick rocks to get down to where my 18-55 mm IS kit lens could do it's work. I think she was more worried about my new camera and all my equipment than she was for me.
I opted to use the 18-55 over my 17-40L because I thought I would need just a tiny bit more reach than the 17-40 would provide. That little kit lens has proved itself over and over to be every bit as sharp and clear as my L series lenses. So I was confident that it would do me proud again.

To answer your question about getting a little wet, yes, I did get a little damp, but not to bad. I got dried out by the flames my wife shot at me as she chewed me out for taking a Crazy chance like that to crawl down the rocks to take the shot!
