Default Kipp Islet Wreck - Kipp Islet Anchor

Broad day light. There are no mysteries - only problems unsolved

Nice shots. Do you know the story behind the wreck?

Hi Torgny

I particularly like the colours, clouds & composition of the last photo. Liike banksy, I'm interested if you know any history behind the wreck.

The reeds in the first two photos are also interesting to me.... nice soft colours and swaying forms. That anchor subject (especially in the 2nd photo) is great! A real 'unexpected' (to me).

You must be having long days / lots of sunlight on clear days up there now! I'm jealous..... here we're in winter in southern Australia. But it's not too bad compared to the winter many countries have

Cheers.

Paul

banksy,

Paul.

I've asked many people but there seems to be a lack of curiosity. Got some information though. It was a late afternoon. The ship came out from the mist on it's way home and got stranded (?) on the rounded cliffs

Steam ship. Route: the westcoast. Freighter probably

//T

Know nothing about ships or motors

Paul,

The second reed picture came out better than I hade hoped for. Manual focus of course and spot metering. I'm pretty happy about it. Thank you. I also like to be given space for discoveries in other people's photos

Yes, long light days, not like winter time with just 3-4 hours of light. On the other hand those hours are valuable - the sun is low and the shadows cast reflections

Hope you're fine down/up there

Torgny
