Default Light Spectacle

The last weekend in Sept 2011.

I went down to the lake to do some evening fishing while up at Lake Isabella. I always carry my camera with me so I started shooting some photo's after I got my lines out. The sun was fading fast and this series takes place within just minutes.

1. This is where the river and lake converge looking north towards the Sierra Nevada's. Taken at 6:30

5. 6:51. After lightning got a little too close I decided sitting next to a fishing pole was not a very good idea so I packed it up.

Thanks for looking.

Love the third photo. It looks like a scene straight out of the movies where it's the end of the world. The lone truck adds to the mood of the photo. Scientist vehicle studying the event or abandoned so the occupant could run for cover. So many different stories come to mind while looking at it. Great photo! Got my imagination going!
