Default night photography workshop

Took a group of learning photographers to Banff National Park last night for another workshop that ran from 7pm to 5:30am. Went to several locations including the amazing Johnson Canyon cave. I had imagined light painting this cave with the help of the light from the full moon so last night was scheduled and I was so happy to have dodged some bad weather and clouds!

Hi Kevin

As per usual, some great night photography. What a happy group of learners to have you as their teacher!

I particularly like the 3rd and 4th photos above.
#3 The light in the background trees and stars out above give a real feeling of space!
#4 I am glad there is a person in the composition, providing an indication of the size of the cave, entrance, etc.

Cheers. Thanks for sharing, as always.

And if you ever come to Australia... feel free to look me up!

Paul

All smiles here Paul! I read your invite and chuckled....turned to my wife and asked, you want to go to Australia!? OH YEAH!! Counting the air miles now.

Thanks Paul.

Fantastic Kevin. Banff is so photogenic and you have captured the scenery beautifully. Lucky students!

Beautiful stuff, as usual, Kevin. Number three for me as well, but the cave shot is really nice. Do your students realize how fortunate they are?

Thanks for the added comments everyone! Paul, I'm needing a lot more air miles, but my wife knows where to get lots so she is spending her little heart out as fast as I can bring it in 8^)

Robert, the students can't wait till my next one is planned and posted! I guess that's a good thing.
