Wow, awesome series! I don't care for ice myself - well, unless it's in a drink - but those are gorgeous shots. My favorites are #3 and #5.

G'day Torgny

Number 1 gets my vote for #1, then number 3 gets 2nd prize
With #1, I like the zig-zag in the ice, then with both I like the wonderful warm colours of the lighting

This type of ice on the lake / river ?? we never ever see in Australia [unless we travel south to Antarctica], so it's a very new visual experience

Regards, Phil

Thank you all for viewing and the comments. Much appreciated. Didn't really expect any replies. May emphasize that being local makes you universally valid(?)

G'Day, Phil,

Here are some facts, in Swedish - but that shouldn't cause any real problems. Some strain on the interpretative abilities, may be

Sverige - våra gränser i geografiska koordinater

Norr - Treriksröset: latitud: 69°03'36"N

Söder - Smygehuk: latitud: 54°37'48"N

Väster - Skäret Stora Drammen: longitud: 10°33'36"E

Öster - Ön Kataja, Haparandas skärgård: longitud: 24°50'24"E

Sveriges geografiska mittpunkt: 61°50'42"N - 17°42'00"E

Sverige har 95 700 sjöar som till ytan är större än 100 x 100 meter
Sveriges yta: 449 965 km2

Sveriges kustlinje: 3218 km

Landgränser: mot Finland 586 km, mot Norge 1619 km

Sveriges längd: 1571,930 km

Högsta punkt: Kebnekaise, 2111 m över havsytan

Lägsta punkt: Kristianstad, 2,4 m. under havsytan

So it's pretty close to the Arctic. It's brackish water/ice where the Goth River meets the sea

Regards
