Default an evening at Ruby Beach

took a drive out to Ruby Beach on the Washington coast yesterday, one of my favorite spots, and as usual, it didn't disappoint. i wanted to try out the Mk II on some nice evening sunset/seascape shots, and it didn't disappoint either! ;D

You've taken many a photo at this place. This one doesn't disappoint either.

You're happy with your 5DmkII then? Did you use the Tamron 24-135mm lens?

Cheers

Paul

thanks, Paul! yeah, this was shot with the Tammy 24-135, but i fear that wonderful little lens has finally met its nemesis. the 5D2 is very demanding of lenses, and most of the images i've shot with the Tamron seem fairly soft. it worked fine on the 5D, but for some reason, that camera was much more forgiving. the Mk II has so much more resolution, it just needs better glass. i have a 24-105L on the way that should solve the problem...
