Default Clever Bridge

At one time in the past, someone dragged a flatbed trailer across this stream to create an instant bridge. A beaver dam and the pond it created is visable at the top of the photo. The altitude at this site was over 10,000 feet. This is on the north side of Hoosier Pass in Colorado. Excellent trout water.

Saw some nice sized Brookies in the pond but I left my fishing gear at home so I could get some decent hiking in. Texas is okay for flatland hiking but Colorado and New Mexico have the trails that get the heart pumping.
