Default Minerva Terrace/Mammoth Hot Springs/Yellwowstone N.P.

This photo was made in 1962 with an Alpa 6b camera using Kodachrome II, The slide was copied with a Sony A200 with a Minolta 50mm f2.8 Macro lens. This amazing hot spring is laced with Travertine which forms the terracing of this beautiful feature.

Great picture, Streets, great sky and everything else about this picture. Good luck transferring. I'm sure there are more gems to come. Very strong image

Thanks for your generous appraisal, Torgny. My new Macro lens is perfect for copying slides, I am beginning to lose bits of emulsion from my old transparencies, so saving them to CD's is the only way to stop the deterioration.

Yes,

Will future computer software be able to read all the different RAW formats. Will they even show .jpeg files? What do you think?

On the picture. It so happened that I came across a waterfall on a winter hike. The strangest formations had formed

In the small format - but everything (or most, perhaps, is relative) The set could have been posted here in the landscape section

Anyhow - I want you to see the pictures at
