Default Maunalua Bay, Oahu, Hawaii

One of the prettiest drives ever when the trade winds were blowing. This vista is between Honolulu and Makapuu Point. From a slide taken in 1960 and copied today.

Wow Streets, a photo from yesterday! Thankfully the coast is still quite untouched till you pass Makapuu beach. Lots of daily activity at Sandy Beach - one of our favorites for seascape photos at dawn.

Yeah, Cowboy, back then I could throw a few nickles in a parking meter on Kalakaua Ave. and go surfing Queens and Canoes. Ass da kine, bra! No huhu.

Streets,
I can still remember the parking meters by the Post Office downtown Hilo took pennies!

The scenery shown in your shot is part of the area with the imposing title "Ka Iwi State Scenic Shoreline". A mouthful for what is undoubtedly one of the most scenic drives on Oahu.
Aloha
