I have this happen to me all the time. I'm constantly having people mention a blob here, a faint blur there, and for a long time, I thought I needed my eyes checked. Then I realized why I wasn't seeing these things: it was because I was seeing what I knew instead of what was really there. The forums are a wonderful place to have our pictures gone over with a cold eye.

I have to say that neither image makes me dizzy but then I may be biased as I took the pic.

Because if you look at it as a picture and not analyze it for it's nicenesez, you will understand.
If you know a bit about humans you will know that everything that meets the eyes get analyzed immediately. You can do nothing about this and in a photo-forum this is very useful.

Like aladyforty I don't get it!!!

What I don't get, Hooligan, is why you chose negative rather than constructive criticism. Wouldn't it have been better to suggest ways to improve the photo?
