Default cloudy day.

I tried to make the photo have not major focal point so that your eyes glided across it and gave you the feeling of a warm, breezy summer day, but all I got what a kinda boring photo. Critique it, please, help me improve! (I'm in dire need of improvement!)

discodudette,

Like snow, brightly-lit skies tend to fool your cam into under-exposure. Again, try +1 to +1.5 stops compensation.

I occasionally take shots like this, not as an end in themselves but in order to have an interesting sky to insert into a pic that has a boring white background. I'm not sure that the subject works too well in its own right.

How about a b/w version, as seen through a red filter?

Hi discodudette...

Gotta say...I loved your original skyscape (no offense please to Fenlander efforts). As someone who loves to capture
ephemeral moments like skyscapes, humbly I offer another
take on your fine photo...

Just a little brightness, contrast work with a a lil bit of noise
reduction and, of course,a border in PSP7.
