Took this last night with my little 1.3 cheapy camera. This was taken at 6.30pm in the truck loading bays where we unload freight that heads for the city. You may be able to see a truck in the picture. I was impressed with this sunset considering it is only a month before winter starts here and this isusually a summer sunset color.

Well captured, aladyforty

A special nod to someone who takes a moment out in the middle of a tough work day to capture a very "warm" photo.

Thanks, the views through the country towns all out in the southern wheatbelt of WA sometimes make up for a 13 hour day. I love the mid year time when all the crops are growing, the canola looks wonderful. On the down side, come summer, everything turns to dust.

It was so odd readng your comment about winter about to begin...

I really need to become more worldly wise.

Nice warm colors.

Very nice shot! Those trees look a bit ominous - like they'd grab you if you walked close to them.

Seasons in VA:

Summer June 21 - Sept 21

Fall Sept 21 - Dec 21

Winter Dec 21 - Mar 21

Spring Mar 21 - June 21

Since you are "down under" does your water go down counter clockwise when you flush the john? It goes clockwise here.

Aladyforty.

In Hawaii we really have only two seasons, wet and dry. The wet season being winterand the dry, summer. Just joking....:-)

Being in the Northern hemisphere we suffer thru the same cycles like Puck. And yes our water tends to drain clockwise.

I have a couple of friends in both Australia and New Zealand and they constantly have to remind me the seasons are reversed.
