Those are super shots. I know you stepped up to the Canon 300D, what are you using for a lens with these pictures? Pat yourself on the back!

Nice work aladyforty. I like the way you have tastefully used depth-of-field to isolate the interesting forms. Are those tripod shots? They look like they've had more than a little bit of thought put into the ocmposition.

Or, is that one of those new generation 300Ds that have the auto-composition add-on?:-)

just the rebel with the 300 lens on (I was out looking for bird shots) and no tripod. I composed them myself.

I have found that overall, my G3 takes great clear closeup shots of plants and the Rebel takes great landscape and bird closeups. Im still experimenting with the Rebel though so I may be wrong there.

GREAT job, Julie!!! Those are all awesome and I love the last one... the word "secret" pops into my head because of fhte brushes in the foreground as if you're sneaking up and the shed is the place that you hang out with friendsa nd you want to keep it a secret. It tells a story in my head!
