These were taken 18/07/04 in the Blue Mountains. About 2 hours out of Sydney, Australia.

All except the first photo were taken at approx 70klm/hr. And all except the first are in sequence as you head down the railway ! This is the Worlds steepest railway.

Wait 'til you see how steep it gets when you get to this drop off !!!

Told you it's steep !

That was fun !!!!!!

It was a rather "theme park-like" experience for me on that railway. Great pics.

The entire Blue Mountains I find is very photogenic... in fact I'm heading out there in a weekend to come, for some camping and amateur pyrotecnics (it's not illegal if nobody can hear you let them off).

Great shots especially for the speed you were going! Seems like it would be pretty darn scary, though!!

Can I just say, try being 6'2" and going on that railway!
I was there last week and I could have held onto the top of the cage with my teeth... in fact, there was very little choice in the matter..

They must have slowed it down that day because after a quite speedy start it slowed right down..

I like the fourth shot the most, I get to see the view finally!

Nice Pics!

But it's funny. Chatanooga, TN has an inclined Railway, and they claim theirs is the steepest in the world..
