Thought this one looked good with a black and white touch. I know there's a lot of lake in it, but I think the calm waves help the picture flow.

Loon Pano...

They really aregorgeous birds, and their distinctive call is very beautiful the first night you spend in the cabin. But after the third and especially the fourth, you're about ready to wear earplugs to bed.

A special part of our cabin called "The Point". It pokes out into the lake, making it a lot easier to find the cabin when you're boating. Also makes a good offshore fishing post, and beautiful setting for a wedding, since my cousin got married there last year.

Jenni...you asked about faves...here they are

Your two loon photos cuz you shot them tack sharp and magically captured their abstract reflections in the wake of their journey.

Also, your photo of the lil point with trees reminds me of a fave place...the Apostle Islands.

Thanks Digcamfan! Only a few of mine really turned out, since I was alone onmy boat at the time and had to drive it closer while I took the picture. The loons weren't too happy with me since they had their babies with them, but I got the shot!

Also, usually they scare and dive under if you try to get close enough to take a picture. But since they had their babies there, they stayed above water. I thank them for that!

Hey Jenni,
I like them all, top 2 for me are the loon pano and "the point" because we are leaving on Tues. for a week in your fine state and we also have a tree guide. We're on Woman Lake by Longville and Hackensack. Great job on the loons, and you were lucky the had little ones along, they always dive outta site for me. Kind of like they are saying:homey:

is it just me?....if you stare at the back of the Loon's head(photo3) a while,

an upside down scull seems to appear.
