2 sunset photos from the same area. Is there anything you DON'T like about them and do you prefer the one with the tree in the foreground or the plain one.

Thanks,
mactek

I like both of them, I think they're both pretty nice, but I have to say I like the one with the tree in it better, although I can't really tell you why, I just think it gives it a little depth perception or something. The color in both of them is really nice.

I like both too. What you need, is some kind of eyecatcher. A bird, cow, car...anything. This will make the image a bit more interesting. Your colors are very good though, but they can't lift the image further up. For that you need something x-tra...

How about a couple of contrails? I could lie and say they were Pleiades meteors, but alas...

Mactek, well, I see your point, but what I meant, that there's LOTS of sunsets like the shown around the net. Therefore - to add something extra - you could wait for that meteor next time :-). Don't get me wrong, I think your photos are fine!

I like them both but if you make me choose only one I'd have to say nr. 2. I think the tree adds some depth.

Definitely the second one. That is an interesting picture.

For my money, the second shot is *way* more interesting.

I love sunsets - but what really makes them is clouds. With no clouds, you just have an interesting colour sky and some dark bits. The branches in the forground definitly spice it all up a bit!
