Was at Crater Lake often as a kid, never saw these though!!!

I was just at Crater Lake last week. Took some shots of the same spires, but your angle is much better than I had, not to mention that it looks like your weather was more cooperative. Nice shot.

On the east side of the rim drive there is a road that goes east about 12-15 miles and ends there at the pinnacles. Then there is a trail that continues down the mtn into the national forest.

These were a cool as the John Day painted hills. Got some good shots there too.
