Here's the constellation Orion, take at a 24 second exposure with an f-stop of 2.8. The alley light, which you can't see, really marred the picture, but, that's living in the city for you.

Nice night shot, there really isn't too much noise for that long of an exposure. Not knowing my const.'s do you have an editing program that you could trace it in?

The only editing program I have is Photoshop CE and PS Elements. But, I don't know them well enough to apply them.

What a beautiful constellation this is !!

I am no expert, but with the help of a book I have traced the outlinr in yellow, and named some of the chief stars. I hope this is accurate :G

Awesome work! Yeah, that's basically how the constellation looks.

It was a shot in the dark, I've never attempted to take a photograph of a constellation before, but I gotta say it turned out really well.

Nice work on the outline. That's just cool.

Hello, Linebacker;

Every morning this week, I've seen Orion when I was leaving for work. I've kicked myself every time I drive down the street, leaving the shot behind. I love low-light/night-time shots, but I've got an hour-long commute, so I let it go every morning. I'm glad someone is taking this shot for me.

Regards,

Tom, on Point Pelee, Canada
