here's one of my shots from a 'hike' i took to a nearby park...
right after we got 15 inches of snow dumped on us

Nice shot Vito. Like how you got the definition of the snow. Looks like wind blown sand. How you like the new camera? I trust you're adjusting. I've thought about switching to a DSLR too. Can't quite make up my mind whether I want to take the jump or not. Cheers.....thekman.

i'm definetely adjusting most things i LOVE about it better...the viewfinder makes taking low angle shots a difficult, crawling in the dirt/mud process lol...
but, even that is a problem with compacts except for my G2's flipout lcd :-p

lol, one thing you have to remember before making the jump...
is cost...
when you get into dSLRs...you have to buy a ton of stuff with it...lol
it's a black hole :-p
more MP means bigger files, means full HD, lol,

but, for the overall control, and added "realness" of taking photographs...it's worth it

i think i posted a pine cone shot in close ups...that one i moved :-p all my other shots were shot 'as is'
