Interesting composition.

Is that a mooring line in the pic?

Push those ice chunks aside and you have an instant Polar Bear Club! :idea:

Actually it is all ice.....the thawing and freezing around here creates some great subjects. I took it from the shore which builds up with ice. I was facing East looking down in the lake about 15 ft. The Western sunset from behind is the light source at the top of the pic.

New Years day we had 25 plus people take a dip in the lake! BRRRRRRRRR!

Very odd, I live in the great white north and have seen many ice covered lakes but I've never seen anything like this. Nice shot, it looks like an ammo dump for a snow ball fight:-)
