The first three were taken from behind the falls. I thought it was kinda cool to stand behind the frozen wall of water.

Awesome! It's hard to imagine a waterfall freezing like that, my favorite is the view through the hole in the ice! Great series!

I live here, and I can't believe it gets that cold!:-)

It was really fun to shoot, to walk behind these massive walls of ice. I was surprised how clean the ice was too. I expected it to be full of dirt & sand. 21 deg. when I took these, and there was plenty of water still flowing down the falls (although it's not really visible in any of these shots).

stunning photos! This is a scene many people will never witness in their lifetimes, well not in person anyway. Your pics capture it well. The neon-ish blue color is excellent as well.
