What really makes that first shot is the tri-level depth. The snowy peak, the distant wooded base and if you could have only gotten a little more of the closer forest it would be perfect. Maybe you had to shoot it so that some closer object was out of frame? Nice, none the less.
The second picture is just plain good. Avalanche country?

It's been quite a while since I've been in B.C., but your photos bring back some of the"take your breath away" feeling of being there. As always, wonderful photos!

The long ridge in middle of first pic is called Brohm Ridge.

It is awesome up on that ridge!
