Hello MoonGypsy! Nice photo, you have done a wonderful job of leading my eyes down the steps with the railing and fences. From your description I assume you are visiting a place from your childhood, I've done this many times myself, nice feeling!

I used to travel that stairway several times a day when I was in the third grade. It has been atleast 35 years ago, maybe more. It still looks the same. I was in the area yesterday visiting my sister, and decided to have a look since not much seems to escape change. I didn't go to the bottom however, some things are better left to the past.

Boy, it sure sounds as ifthere's a story there. Ok, here's your homework... show that in a picture. (not the story, the mood)

By the way, I like the shot. As Bob says, it leads your eyes along the descending path.

Tom, on Point Pelee, Canada

P.S. Your description reminds me of a line from Bob Seger's "Against theWind""...wish I didn't knownow what I didn't know then." Speaking of homework, I used to make my students writeessays about that line. :-)
