Nice picture,I bet that tree could tell a thousand stories. And its nearly bare branches just add to its mystique

Lovely shot- the colours give hints of details I can't quite focus on . . leaves me wanting to see more. Would love to see this in a larger size . . . do you have it on the web anywhere kanji or could you resize it a tad larger (700 wide-ish?)

wonderfully moody! the lovely grasses and wildflowers add to the contrast of the lonely tree.

Great shot and great composition. Just one thing though...the colors just don't seem right. Is it me or is it a little too contrasty and oversaturated ? It might just be my stupid labtop monitor

Nice shot.

I agree about the contrast and saturation. Something seems off. I see some clone duplicating as well.

EDIT: Now that I look closer the cloning seems to be apparent from edge to edge along the bottom 1/4.

Hi widowmaker and Hoooba, I took these pics right after a rain here in this area and the colors are always very vibrant in these little valleys at this time, plus I use a warming polarizing filter.Actually, the purple plants were even more vivid than the photo shows. The cloning was my feeble attempt to remove a strand of barbed wire fence. Anyway, sharp eyeand thanks for the comments.

Ahh its the filter.

I would not have noticed the cloning to begin with except the purple plants at the bottom left. Once I saw that my eyes were just drawn across. Its not as noticable as you move right.

Still a nice shot, didn't mean to suggest othewise.
