This is the Glockenspiel in Stratford, NZ. These are common in Europe, but this
one is unique in NZ. It is a musical clock. It plays & displays the story of Romeo &
Juliet.

Fern trees are a symbol of NZ. They grow very fast, like this one.

makes me really want tovisit your country... beautiful! i wish i had a view like that from MY garden!! i like # 3 the best, i think... marvelous colors. did you bump up the saturation at all, or was the sky really that intense?

Baz,

Your scenic shots are quite spectacular. The fern close-up is a lovely abstract.

I was there with my wife several months ago and adored it. We both agreed, we will return and that's coming from someone who lives in Hawaii. Some of my pictures are at if you're interested.
