That's a beautiful sunset shot. Looks like something you could use for a wallpaper image.

I had trouble the first few times myself trying to post properly. I like to resize with Microsoft Powertoys Image Resizer. It's easy and quick. As far as you picture quality is concerned the colors, brightness and contrast look fine to me. Of course the water is going to look dark closer to you. The water probably is dark to begin with and then the sun's brightness tends to make the water seem darker. The camera doesn't compensate like the human eye does. Another "trick" I use to make my pictures look better is a free software called "digital camera enhancer" from http://www.mediachance.com . I always process all my pictures through it. If the picture is good and doesn't need enhancement then the software leaves it alone. You can see a before and after with it and then you can save the processed image if you want.

Hi Gary, I think the picis just great, thecolors are awesome, the compositionis really nice. Perhaps the only minorconstructive criticism I would pass is that the horizon is off level, a bit of a crop on an editor of your choice would easily sort that out. Well Done , keep them coming !!!

I agree with you 100% - It is tremendous fun using a digital

I think he other guys were just pulling your leg, most, if not all the guys here at Stevesare prettyfriendly, I'm sure no harm was intended:G:G:G

Hi Gary ! Pretty cool shot! You are off to a great start for only having your camera for such a short time, and new to the computer!! Your enthusiasm shows, and I think it's great! I look forward to seeing more from that camera of yours! Jakes right, there are alot of really great people on here who share your enthusiasm!
