Last night, just after sunset. My dog sat very still so I could take this shot. He like to walk and is starting to undestand that if he can sit still when I ask, he gets more walks.

Nikon D70 with 18-70mm, ISO 200, +.3 EV at 18mm F5 1/200 sec.

What caused the ripple in the center?

Looks like a fish rise to me, and you're right those are great reflections!

Thanks for the comments. I also think the ripples were a fish. I have to confess, I didn't see the ripples until I viewed the shot on my PC, just got lucky. I do think they add something to the shot.

I thought perhaps you may have thrown a small stone into the water just to get the ripple effect. Kudos to the fish for perfect timing...
