Usually my camera points the other direction, out towards Lake Erie. Today I turned it around for a bit, trying to capture a panorama with some depth/perspective.

I was a little unsure where to crop this. Ideally, I'd like to cut the little bit of house on the left, but I felt I neededmore space on that sideto balancethings.

A little about this shot...That tiny strip of land fading off to theright is Point Pelee, one of the world's great bird watching Meccas. That red breakwall (or its predecessor, actually) washed into the lake one winter'snightten years ago. It looked like a train wreck.In a bad storm we can easily lose orgain 2-4 feet of sand (vertical, that is) That's why there is nothing permanent on the beach.

That works rather well as a panorama, nicely done, I like it!
